BankSimple CTO Alex Payne described most note taking products as Everything Buckets, and something to be avoided. Why?
One of the biggest problems students and journalists face isn’t access to information, but making sense of it. That important Word document sent to a professor or an editor is often the summation of a lot of hard work and valuable experience. What if that experience could be a narrative of the learning process?
I’ve been helping people become better at what they do since 1999, and during that time I’ve come to understand that our brains aren’t hard drives, and how we remember things and make connections is personal.
Under Cloud helps us take control by transforming our notes and research into a personal web of ideas we connect with simple annotated links.
I’ve been fortunate to have had the chance to impress some important people in the EdTech space here in England with a demonstration of the Under Cloud, and the consensus appears to be that it has genuine potential.
So, this is the point where I have to widen the stride and take a big, bold leap … again.
I have big plans for the Under Cloud, but I’ll be needing a cofounder / copilot / co-conspirator to get there. First, we would need to take that expert opinion and find a valid product-market fit.
I’m Wayne, and I’m the owner and founder of Octane Interactive Limited which I started in June 1999, a business that focuses on bringing the benefits of digital transformation to the often humble but always potent SME.
As a cofounder:
- have a proven track record in business development;
- be based in England…
… I could go on about a willingness to take risks, passion, ability to improvise, resourcefulness, resilience under pressure, adaptability, having a growth mindset, the importance of wearing different hats, spinning plates, juggling chainsaws and so on, but I’m going to take those things for granted.
